May Fishing Anderson Lake British Columbia
May Fishing Anderson Lake British Columbia
May Fishing Anderson Lake British Columbia. Anderson Lake has come to life in the past week. Fishing for both Rainbow Trout and Bull Trout has been very good with lots of fish in and around 10 pounds. Kokanee has been slow and usually picks up by the end of June. There has been an incredible Flying black Ant hatch this year and the fish are feeding very heavily on them. This being said almost anything you fish with that is black, will catch fish. Large spoons and Plugs have been working on the surface. If you are running downriggers on your boat, try fishing in and around 65′. I have been having great success between 55′ -65′. All of the creeks feeding the lake are now showing signs of spring run off. The lake is starting to rise and the water temperature is sitting at 45.3°f. This temperature is up from last weeks 42.°f.
