Fishing in May Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park
Fishing in May Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park. May has some of the best fishing in Birkenhead Lake because the lake is now free of ice and the water is beginning to warm. The Campsite has yet to open but the overflow campground is open. There is approximately 10 stalls in the overflow. This is the best time to camp there because there are no bugs yet. The temperature can still drop as low as freezing this time of year at Birkenhead lake because of its elevation. Birkenhead lake is nearly 3000 feet in elevation. Do not forget that there is zero retention of Bull Trout in Birkenhead Lake. The Pemberton Fish Finder has exclusive Guiding rights on this lake so if you would like to give fishing a go here check us out http://pembertonfishfinder.com Enjoy the Fishing video!
