As a result there’s an abundance of Wildlife, stunning views and amazing fishing year-round. 

Our Lake fishing season is off to a fantastic start. Small lakes typically ice off the first week of  April and we launch our big lake boats at the beginning of June. Last season we purchased a new Marlin sp14 Jon Boat. In fact, this has been an absolute game changer, especially on the smaller lakes.  The Jon Boat has allowed us to do more hands on teaching while chironomid fly fishing and nymphing.  By and large allowing us to fly fish with families that have small children.

If you’re an adventure Seeker or just love the Great Outdoors you’ll be happy to hear that we are just a short day trip away from Vancouver British Columbia Canada. Located only 2 hours North of Vancouver nestled in the Coastal mountains is the beautiful town of Pemberton BC. Most of our Lake tours are located here.  We also offer River fishing trips here as well.  It is absolutely beautiful here and the fishing is fantastic as well.  This is a fantastic day trip idea and you’ll be home for dinner, hopefully with your catch.  If you’re not a Day Tripper there are tons of great accommodations from five star hotels to Rustic VRBO’s within 30 minutes of Pemberton. There are also a great selection of restaurants from your local greasy spoon to fine dining. Either way we’ve got you covered.

Float tube fly fishing trips

One of our clients favorite trips is the v-boat fly fishing trips on our smaller lakes. V-boats are single person self-powered flotation devices that you sit up off the water and maneuver by kicking.  Waders and fins are provided as well as booties to make this experience comfortable.  The small lakes hold mainly rainbow trout, retention in the small lakes is available depending on the lake. Typically our small v-boat fly fishing trips are only available between the months of April and mid July since toward the end of July the small lakes become too warm for safe release of fish. However this is not an issue because at this time our rivers are just coming back into shape after freshet and are fishing phenomenally.  At this point our big Lakes are really starting to produce big fish as well.  

Get your kids hooked on fishing

This summer let’s get the family out fishing. We love teaching children how to fish, their excitement can be very infectious. Our professional fishing guides also have young families themselves and know what it takes to keep kids entertained. Whenever we can get children to put down an Xbox and pick up a tackle box we are all winning. Typically our large lake boats provide a safe and exciting fishing experience with non-stop action due to this we recommend you bring a cooler along and let’s catch dinner.
