Nita Lake

Alpha Lake
Not many people know about this small lake in Whistler, BC. It hold a couple of species that include Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout. You can catch trout in this lake in Excess of 20″ while Ice fishing. Alpha lake is also stocked annually, this keeps the fishing good.
Showh Lakes
This lake is for the more adventurous and is one of my favorite lakes in Whistler for Ice fishing. Years past this lake was known as “Whistler’s trophy lake” but lack of fishing and retention while they kept stocking this lake made the fish size decrease. A couple of years ago they opened this lake to retention and the size is making a huge comeback. It is not uncommon to see Cutthroat Trout in this lake in excess of 20″.
