2014 Pemberton Winterfest Ice Fishing Derby at One Mile Lake

2014 Pemberton Winterfest Ice Fishing Derby at One Mile Lake.  This has become an Annual event for kids under 16 and our Senior citizens.  We had a huge turn out last year, providing a fun day for nearly 250 Kids.  Lets just say we were not prepared for this incredible turn out, but we got through it.  Some kids had to wait a while to fish.  As the line grew, the interest grew almost like the empty bar concept.  Except you could see kids having a great time with a few fish being caught.  This year we are prepared! We have brought along an extra 30 Ice fishing rod combos, Which at the end of the day we are going to give 20 of them away to the kids.  There are also going to be plenty of other prizes given away in part by Spud Valley Sporting Goods ltd.  If you would like to come prepared for the Ice fishing derby stop by Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd. at 1380 Birch street, downtown Pemberton.  They will have Ice fishing rod and reel combos on sale this special day for the kids.  Ice fishing rod and reel combos for $16.99 “Steal of a Deal”.  They also have Jigs, lures, bait and helpful advice.

2014 Pemberton Winterfest Ice Fishing Derby at One Mile Lake

The 2014 Pemberton Winterfest Ice Fishing Derby will be held at One Mile Lake January 19th.  The Ice fishing derby starts at 10am and will finish up at 3pm.  Bring your kids out and have a fun day!  Although there is no charge for the Ice fishing Derby we will be collecting donations for the Pemberton Children’s Centre.  We are always looking for help hosting this fun event.  If you would like to get involved please email us info@pembertonfishfinder.com
