Anderson Lake BC Fishing Reports March 2013, The boat launch at Anderson Lake is free of Ice and debris. The water temperature is 5.5°c “42°f” at the D’arcy end and the fishing has been fair. Most of the fish have been in and around 60′ of water. When trolling this time of year, use a slower troll with a lure that works at a slower trolls, examples of this would be: Flatfish, Qwikfish, Apex. We are having best luck with Green, Blue and Gold in color. The fish are a bit sluggish with the cold water temperatures and the Salmon fry have yet to leave the creek mouth at Gates. The Salmon fry should start leaving Gates creek in about 2-3 weeks and that brings some Great fishing.
