While Ice fishing Lucille Lake there are a few jigs that are a must. First, is the Zapper and Secondly, a Fireball Jig. Both of which are available at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd in Pemberton BC on 1380 Birch Street. When both of these jigs are tipped with either a worm or salad shrimp we have been catching lots of these beautiful Brook Trout. Typically, we have had best success while ice fishing near the bottom within the bottom foot. If you find that the bottom is not producing fish, try mid column and jig a bit more erratically. Powerbait and curly tailed jigs also work well on Lucille Lake because Brook Trout love movement.
