Thank You All 2020 Salmon Fishing Season is a Wrap

To Say the least, 2020 has been a difficult year for many. Rule after rule and new regulations added to the many obstacles already in place made for a shortened season. We were not alone, every company that makes fishing their bread and butter was faced with very tough decisions. Many fishing companies didn’t even bother to open their doors this year and many will be forced to close their doors for good. We were fortunate to have the best ever October in our companies history, without that I think our fate may have been much different. For that I am very thankful and would also ask our loyal fans and clients to shop locally this year. Support the many small businesses, family owned and operated. These businesses need your support more than ever. Buy a Gift certificate or book a tour

Thank You all for the Support
With the change of seasons soon we will welcome a new year. First, of all I would like to thank our wonderful clients and fans for your continued support. We are used to entertaining a global economy! This year our local economy came up Big and helped us keep our doors open and dreams alive! Usually we roll 10 guides throughout the Summer months, this year we rolled a skeleton crew of 3 and a couple helpers. I don’t want you to think everything was bad about 2020. October offered some of the best Coho Fishing I’ve experienced.
As much as fishing with locals is not something we usually do, It was nice to see some familiar faces. Locals also understood if I rolled in to my honey holes with clients the next day, you had to make room. lol We were all in this together this year. People were chatting on the river, helping each other land fish, sharing secrets and watching out for each other. A welcomed change!

If the new norm is being outside, enjoying time with your family, you can sign me up! If I have to wear a mask and wash my hands, I’m OK with that. Things can always be worse! For the people that lost loved ones, my deepest condolences. I think we can all learn something from this. Even if it is to be happy with who you are and what you do. Mental health issues are on a steady rise. Please, reach out to your neighbors and friends, not everyone’s is dealing with this pandemic as well as you or I.
Collaboration is Key
I’ve always used our social platforms to lift spirits and promote fishing. This year we spend more time collaborating with like minded people. Above is a video we did this year in the midst of a global pandemic with Robyn Kimberly, short but sweet. When the Pandemic first hit we were mid flight with our good friend Geoff Heith, video below. We are always interested in collaboration with like minded persons or groups. If you have an idea, lets hear it. If you like these videos we have a plethora of fishing videos over on our YouTube Channel.
Love your Job. Thank You All 2020 Salmon Fishing Season is a Wrap
Needless To Say We Will Never Stop Chasing The Dream. If you love what you do, It’s not work, It’s Passion! There isn’t a day that I don’t jump out of bed to go Fishing with my clients, even if its -20°c or raining cats and dogs. Below are a few pictures from our amazing Coho Salmon Fishing Season. Once again Thank You all for the support and our extended Guiding Family Thanks you.
