Ice Fishing Tours – Pemberton Fish Finder<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ice Fishing Repor<\/a>t Whistler and Pemberton British Columbia Canada.\u00a0 The ice fishing has been very good in the Whistler, Pemberton area.\u00a0\u00a0 So far every tour this year have caught multiple fish.\u00a0 All of the fish this year have been Rainbow Trout ranging from 10″ – 25″.\u00a0 A 25 inch Trout can weigh upwards of 5 pounds and put up one heck of a fight.\u00a0 We have some incredible ice conditions this year, better than past years.\u00a0 All of the lakes that we have been ice fishing this year have 8+ inches of ice.\u00a0 The ice is clear and clear ice is the strongest possible.\u00a0 Clear Ice is also the most slippery ice.\u00a0 We have welcomed this little bit of snow received in the past couple of days.\u00a0 The snow covering has also limited the Trout’s vision of seeing us on the ice.<\/p>\n

Ice Fishing Report Whistler and Pemberton British Columbia Canada<\/h2>\n

Most people drive right on past Whistler to go ice fishing in Pemberton<\/a>.\u00a0 This is not the case this year.\u00a0 The Ice fishing in Whistler has been exceptional!\u00a0 Even as a kid i don’t remember the fishing being this good in Whistler during the Winter.\u00a0 There are a few lakes that are closed to Ice fishing in Whistler, so make sure you check the BC Freshwater Fishing regulations<\/a>.\u00a0 Here are a few lakes that we have been Ice fishing with Great success.\u00a0 Nita Lake<\/em> is one of the smaller lakes in Whistler.\u00a0 It holds an abundant amount of smaller Rainbow trout.\u00a0 Alpha Lake<\/em> is one of the larger lakes in Whistler.\u00a0 It is stocked with Rainbow Trout and Cutthroat Trout.\u00a0 Trout in this lake can reach 3-4lbs.\u00a0 One of my favorite lakes in the Whistler area is Lost Lake<\/em>.\u00a0 Lost Lake is a hidden Gem full of Rainbow Trout ranging between 12″ – 17″.\u00a0 The occasional Rainbow will reach 20″.\u00a0\u00a0 The lake is very photogenic in the Winter months.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
