Recently we have received just over 2 feet of fresh powder snow.\u00a0 Blackwater lake road has been plowed and the parking lot is clear of snow.\u00a0 The fishing has been very good with the bait of choice being worms.\u00a0 Lure of choice has been a red or silver Zapper.\u00a0 When using a Zapper, tip it with either a salad shrimp or worm and you will find that the Zapper Jig works better with a long quick jigging motion.\u00a0 Keep the lure moving for about 30 seconds then let it sit for 5 seconds and repeat.\u00a0 First try jigging near the bottom, if this does not work try near the middle and finally just under the ice.\u00a0 The Zapper Jig represents an injured bait fish, the jig will definitely get there attention.\u00a0 You will find this method of Ice fishing at Blackwater lake very effective.\u00a0 For more BC Ice Fishing Reports<\/a> and information about fishing Blackwater Lake, Ice Fishing videos<\/a> and to hire an Ice fishing Guide<\/a> visit the Pemberton Fish Finder<\/a>.<\/p>\n
