Sturgeon Fishing Whistler and Lillooet British Columbia Canada<\/h2>\n

Sturgeon Fishing Whistler and Lillooet British Columbia Canada.\u00a0 Once we arrived at the fishing destination via Jet Boat.\u00a0 We set up our rods with bait and out they went.\u00a0 I just put the rod in the rod holder and noticed a very faint bump on my rod and then BOOM!\u00a0 This Sturgeon hit the bait like a Freight train then erupted out of the water like a fighter jet.\u00a0 At this point I remembered saying to myself “wow, this fish is nearly the size of our boat”.\u00a0 Then looked down to notice that I was loosing line to this Sturgeon very rapidly.\u00a0 So, the captain pulled anchor to gain some line back before I was spooled.\u00a0 After a 30 minute battle with the most enormous Sturgeon that I have ever caught, the line went slack.\u00a0 I estimated the Sturgeon to be between 10′ – 12′ and may have weighed nearly 700lbs – 800lbs.\u00a0 The Sturgeon was able to shake our barbless hook.\u00a0 I am sure that this battle may have went for more than a few hours.\u00a0 I sat back in my chair trying to comprehend what just happened.\u00a0 At this point my arms had a very good pump and the day was young.<\/p>\n

Once back at the fishing destination we set up our rods again and continued to reel in numerous Sturgeon in and around the 6′ mark.\u00a0 We were fishing Sturgeon in Lillooet on the Mighty Fraser River.\u00a0\u00a0Sturgeon Fishing Whistler and Lillooet British Columbia Canada has some of the best Sturgeon fishing in the World.\u00a0 Everyone in the boat got to reel on numerous Sturgeon.\u00a0 The use of Barbless hooks makes it a bit challenging to land some of these fish.\u00a0 Typically we lose nearly 60% of the Sturgeon we hooked.\u00a0 This is not an issue because the fishing is very good.<\/p>\n
