We are proud to announce that the Pemberton Fish Finder<\/a> Has Exclusive Guiding Rights Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park.\u00a0 It has been a very lengthy process.\u00a0 Taking us nearly 2 years to seal the deal.\u00a0 We would like to thank the Provincial Government for making Birkenhead Lake available to our company.\u00a0 Now we can assist in helping people enjoy there stay. \u00a0 While providing a safe, rewarding and educational fishing adventure in one of our Beautiful Parks here in the Pemberton, Whistler area. <\/span><\/p>\n

Birkenhead Lake is one of the most scenic, well kept Campgrounds in British Columbia, Canada<\/h2>\n

Birkenhead lake has been and continues to be one of the Elite Fishing lakes in British Columbia, Canada.\u00a0 There are ample opportunities of catching Bull Trout over 10lbs and Rainbow Trout over 5lbs.\u00a0 No one knows Birkenhead Lake better than the Pemberton Fish Finder.\u00a0 Be assured that you will have an incredible fishing experience with your friends and family.\u00a0 Personally I “Brad Knowles” have fished, camped and visited Birkenhead Lake since I was a child and some of my fondest childhood memories come from this lake.\u00a0 I would love to share my local Knowledge of this Beautiful Lake with you.\u00a0 Make it a trip, stay a night at the Provincial Campground and in the morning we will pick you up at the dock in one of our 2 powered boats.\u00a0 If you would like to keep enough fish for dinner while staying at the lake we can help.\u00a0 If you would simply like to catch, photograph and release we can help.\u00a0 You do not need to be staying at Birkenhead Provincial Park for us to assist you.\u00a0 We can provide transportation to and from your destination anywhere between Whistler and Pemberton, BC.\u00a0 The season to visit Birkenhead Lake is short because the park is only open from May to snowfall.\u00a0 Snowfall visits this lake usually by November so don’t waste time to book a freshwater fishing tour of a lifetime.<\/p>\n

As a young boy, the small town of Pemberton didn't offer the youth many things other than great fishing. So every waking moment I would be seen fishing the local rivers and lakes on a daily basis. In 1976 My Father \"Ivan Knowles\" opened Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, and how fitting he had his two boys running the shop who were both very avid in hunting, camping and most of all ... fishing. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan. Also a proud member of the fisheries committee for Pemberton Wildlife Association - helping make local decisions on local fisheries.
