This year was definitely one for the books.  We shared a ton of laughs, high fives and best of all we made a lot of new friends.  Our Ice fishing tours are located in some of the most spectacular setting the World has to offer.  Lets not forget about the wide variety of fish species to choose from either. the year.  The fishing only gets better as the year progresses.  As the Ice fishing season comes to the end we start making the transition into Coastal Cutthroat Trout and the Steelhead Fishing Season.  It is not uncommon to see Wild Steelhead in and around 20 LBS.  This year we have brought in a couple Fishing guides that are dialed in on Steelhead.  In the past we never really focused on Steelhead, but this year is a very different story.  Let&#8217;s just say there has been a lot of wet nets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It&#8217;s a Pink Salmon Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a Pink Salmon Fishing Year.  Anyone that has fished with us in the past for Pink Salmon, typically books it for the next Pink Season and brings there friends.  The thing that makes the Pink Salmon season so special is that it only happens on odd years &#8220;2019, 2021, 2023&#8221;.  This usually gives you plenty of time to allow your arms to recover or to get your arms in shape for the next season.  Our Pink Salmon fishery is World class and or could be the Best in the World.  It&#8217;s not uncommon to see 20 &#8211; 40 Salmon mornings, that&#8217;s pretty well a fish every other cast. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \\\"The Family Business\\\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
