These streams are Fitzsimmons Creek, Green River and the Cheakamus river. If one wants to Target larger fish while fly fishing near Whistler you should visit the neighboring towns of Pemberton and Squamish BC. The reason for this is very clear, both towns noted receive an abundance of Salmon throughout the Summer and Fall months. Salmon leave behind tasty treats known as salmon eggs, trout will travel great distances to eat these. You’ll know these hatches are about to happen when trout start eating your strike indicators while both nymphing and or dead drifting egg patterns.
