It’s that time of year when the shorelines clear of snow and Ice.\u00a0 Salmon fry start to emerge from their beds and explore the Rivers in search of food.\u00a0 They quickly find out that there are a lot hazards along there way. For this reason they seek refuge in the form of log jams, structure and numbers. As Predatory Fish; Bull Trout, Rainbow Trout, Coastal Cutthroat Trout, Steelhead and Dolly Varden key in on Salmon fry, they also become\u00a0vulnerable to becoming targets. In the process of chasing fry, they turn a blind eye to the inherent risk of falling victim to fry\u00a0imitations.\u00a0 Fly Fishing with Salmon fry\u00a0imitations can induce, vicious strikes.\u00a0 It is difficult to fly fish fry patterns incorrectly, it almost seems at times the harder it is to catch, the more they want it.<\/p>\n
