This year the Chum Salmon have entered the Rivers a bit earlier than typical.\u00a0 Typically you start seeing numbers worthy of fly fishing for starting the 3rd to last week of October.\u00a0 The Peak of the Chum Salmon run is typically the 15th of November.\u00a0 Coho Salmon start entering the Rivers by the last week of September and peak by mid November.\u00a0 The Coho Salmon will linger in the River until the New Years.\u00a0 Throughout the Salmon season you will bi-catch Bull Trout and Rainbow Trout.\u00a0 Trout are very easy to target with the use of both flesh flies and egg patterns.<\/p>\n

We are very spoiled when it comes to fly fishing.\u00a0 For starters, Chum Salmon on average weigh between 18 – 20 LBS and can weigh as much as 30 LBS.\u00a0 Close behind them is the Coho Salmon.\u00a0 Coho Salmon average between 8 – 12 LBS and can weigh as much as 21 LBS.\u00a0 These are both very tough and resilient fish, making them a great sport fish for fly fishing.\u00a0 Both like similar flies in color and size, so you really don’t know which fish you are going to catch.\u00a0 This keeps it very interesting, fun and makes it the Best fly fishing time of the year for Salmon in British Columbia Canada.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
