As one season ends another begins. \u00a0We have roughly one and a half weeks of quality Pink Salmon fishing left in Squamish, BC. \u00a0Right now there are lots of fresh Pink Salmon running throughout the Squamish River. \u00a0There are also a few Pinks that are starting to show their age and expire. \u00a0In a couple of weeks you will start to notice more and more expiring Pinks and at this point we pull the plug and allow them to finish their life cycle in peace and harmony. \u00a0Once, the Pinks begin to spawn heavily the Sockeye Salmon start to flood the Rivers surrounding Pemberton, BC. \u00a0We have reports that there are a few already entering the Rivers surrounding Pemberton, BC. \u00a0This is a very exciting time of year for those that love to chase large Rainbow Trout and Bull Trout while fly fishing. \u00a0Enjoy some of the best fly fishing in Canada.<\/p>\n

While this year did not hold record amounts of Pink Salmon throughout the Rivers in Squamish, our clients have done very well. \u00a0This Pink Salmon run was a bit later than past years but in the past couple of weeks we have seen a huge spike in population. \u00a0 Throwing pretty well anything pink in color at them will produce Pink Salmon after Pink Salmon right now. \u00a0Although chartreuse is also a popular color when Pink Salmon fishing, we have found pink to be our favorite color and top producer.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
