When it comes to Freshwater fishing in British Columbia, Canada our lake with Exclusive guiding rights is as good as it gets. \u00a0Expect to catch lots of fish. \u00a0Bull Trout in this lake range in size from 16″ – 34″ in length and can weigh as much as 20 LBS. \u00a0The lake also has a healthy population of Rainbow Trout that range in size from 12″ – 26″ and tip the scale at 10 LBS. \u00a0The fish in our Exclusive lake grow quickly because of a staple food source, Kokanee Salmon. \u00a0Kokanee Salmon are a land locked Sockeye Salmon and in this lake they only grow to a maximum length of 6″. \u00a0Large predatory fish key in on this easily replicated food source.<\/p>\n

The picture above clearly shows a good match in bait size by using a Luhr Jensen J-Plug. \u00a0This Kokanee\u00a0was coughed up from a fish that was fooled by the\u00a0irresistible motion of this lure. \u00a0The J-Plug has a more\u00a0erratic motion than that of a Tomic plug and similar to a Lyman wooden plug. \u00a0This allows you to troll at slower speeds and get the desired movement needed to entice these predatory fish. Having a slower trolling speed will allow you to mix up your lure selection to compliment the J-Plug.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \\\"The Family Business\\\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan. Also a proud member of the fisheries committee for Pemberton Wildlife Association - helping make local decisions on local fisheries. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
