BC Fishing Reports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lower Lillooet River &#8211; BC Fishing Reports, It is that time of year when the river banks are clear of snow and the water is boiling with Sea Run Coastal Cutthroat Trout.\u00a0 The fishing has been very good For large Rainbow Trout, Coastal Cutthroat, Bull Trout, with the occasional Steelhead and Chinook passing by.\u00a0 Water clarity is much better than last year and visibility is between 3&#8242;-4&#8242;.\u00a0 We have found the fishing to be best at the confluence of clear tributaries to the Lillooet River.\u00a0 Although the main channel is holding just as many fish, visibility may have been playing a role for <a href=\"http:\/\/pembertonfishfinder.com\/fly-fishing-whistler\/\">fly fishing<\/a>.\u00a0 Gear fishing is very productive throughout the river with the use of bright spoons, blades, rubber worms and Gooey bobs.\u00a0 All of the Trout we caught were absolutely full of\u00a0Salmon fry to the point of puking them up upon hooking and handling.\u00a0 This being said we matched the Fry to a couple patterns in our boxes and then we really started getting into them heavily.\u00a0 I landed 20 Trout myself this Rainy day on the fly, while my fishing partners did about the same.\u00a0 Minnow patterns 2&#8243;-2.5&#8243; in length, white belly with a forest green back seemed to be the answer.\u00a0 Simple patterns like the Lillooet Killer, Bead Headed Brown Wooly Buggers and Muddler Minnows were also working well.\u00a0 Lillooet Lake forest service road is fairly rough but there was a grader working it on the East side.\u00a0 The road down the West side of the Lillooet River is still closed due to trees across the road and should be open any day.\u00a0 Always pack a spare tire, tire pump and plugs when traveling Lillooet lake road.\u00a0 The<a href=\"http:\/\/pembertonfishfinder.com\"> Pemberton Fish Finder<\/a> offers full day fishing tours on the Lower Lillooet River, Lillooet Lake and the Upper Lillooet River.\u00a0 For more information on the Lower Lillooet River &#8211; Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
