Fly fishing with egg patterns this time of year is a very effective way of catching Trout as long as it is presented the right way. \u00a0Simply put, you want to dead drift them. \u00a0Most people that fly fish with an egg pattern use a floating line, strike indicator and a leader length of 9 feet. \u00a0Place your strike indicator at approximately\u00a01.5 times the depth of water being fished. \u00a0To fly fish an egg pattern properly it should be bouncing along the bottom of the stream at the streams current speed. \u00a0Do not swing or strip egg patterns, they will not catch fish this way.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
