After watching the video of Scott and myself fly fishing Ivey Lake for the day, I have realized just how good of friends we are. \u00a0The music almost makes it seem like a love story, but that’s not the case. \u00a0Both Myself and Scott are happily married. \u00a0When you are catching fish for fish of this quality, one can get lost in the moment and surroundings. \u00a0This day there was a buzz in the air, that was\u00a0serenaded by the hum of our fly reel drags. \u00a0We caught Rainbow Trout after Rainbow Trout, with both dry lines and sinking lines, on troll and on the strip. \u00a0It was as if we could do no wrong. \u00a0This was not the case for a couple others that visited the lake on the same day as the Fish Finder. \u00a0After about the 10th fish, I rowed over to the unfortunate individuals and passed them off a couple flies that were working for us. \u00a0Soon they were into fish as well and to me this is what fishing is all about. \u00a0It’s not about catching every fish in the lake while onlookers wish they could just catch one. \u00a0Fishing is about the excitement of catching a fish, that moment you feel a tug on your line, the Fulfillment of anticipation.<\/p>\n
