While visiting Whistler for Ice fishing the following lakes will provide ample opportunities to catch fish.<\/p>\n

Lost Lake<\/h3>\n

Lost lake is one of those must visit lakes for Ice fishing for Rainbow Trout ranging in size from 12″ – 18″. \u00a0This lake is stocked annually and will provide non stop action. \u00a0Access is a bit of an issue because of parking but once you get that figured out expect an unforgettable day of Ice fishing.<\/p>\n

Nita Lake<\/h3>\n

Nita lake is a hidden Gem and is absolutely full of Rainbow Trout. \u00a0Don’t expect to catch giant Rainbow Trout, but expect to catch lots while ice fishing. \u00a0Rainbow Trout range in size between 10″ – 16″. \u00a0Nita lake is also stocked annually. \u00a0This is a Great lake to introduce kids to Ice fishing in Whistler, BC.<\/p>\n

Alpha Lake<\/h3>\n

Not many people know about this small lake in Whistler, BC. \u00a0It hold a couple of species that include Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout. \u00a0You can catch trout in this lake in Excess of 20″ while Ice fishing. \u00a0Alpha lake is also stocked annually, this keeps the fishing good.<\/p>\n

Showh Lakes<\/h3>\n

This lake is for the more adventurous and is one of my favorite lakes in Whistler for Ice fishing. \u00a0Years past this lake was known as “Whistler’s trophy lake” but lack of fishing and retention while they kept stocking this lake made the fish size decrease. \u00a0A couple of years ago they opened this lake to retention and the size is making a huge comeback. \u00a0It is not uncommon to see Cutthroat Trout in this lake in excess of 20″.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \\\"The Family Business\\\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan. Also a proud member of the fisheries committee for Pemberton Wildlife Association - helping make local decisions on local fisheries.
