Best Freshwater fishing in British Columbia Anderson Lake. \u00a0It’s that time of year on Anderson Lake when the Sockeye Salmon make there long journey up the Fraser River, through Anderson Lake to Spawn in Gates Creek. \u00a0On there journey they bring along a ton of large Rainbow Trout and Bull Trout to eat there spawn that they leave behind. \u00a0For the next few weeks and into September the fishing is Amazing on Anderson Lake. \u00a0This is a Great time to introduce kids, Families and friends to fishing in British Columbia. \u00a0This time of year we make the comparison to fishing in a barrel. \u00a0There are tons of Rainbow Trout averaging in size between 16″ – 24″ and weighing as much as 6 LBS. \u00a0Occasionally we catch Rainbow Trout over 10 LBS, now that’s a huge Trout! \u00a0Bull Trout in Anderson Lake average between 18″ – 24″ and weigh as much as 30 LBS. \u00a0Let’s not forget about the incredible Kokanee fishing either. \u00a0Although the Kokanee are not huge they are the best eating fish in British Columbia. \u00a0Kokanee in Anderson Lake average between 12″ – 16″ and weigh as much as 4 LBS. \u00a0Kokanee fishing is a ton of fun. \u00a0 On any\u00a0given day you can land at least 10 and we don’t mind if you take a few home for dinner.<\/p>\n

Best Freshwater fishing in British Columbia<\/h2>\n

Anderson Lake is located 40 Minutes North of Pemberton, British Columbia. \u00a0The drive is very scenic and the fishing is Great! \u00a0While fishing on Anderson Lake, Trolling is the best way to catch Trophy fish. \u00a0Trolling small bright spoons will work great for Rainbow Trout and Kokanee. \u00a0The Bull Trout make a steady diet of Kokanee, so use large spoons resembling Kokanee. \u00a0The picture above shows you there color and try your best to match them. \u00a0I like to troll fast on Anderson lake between 2 – 3 MPH. \u00a0This makes your spoons look very crippled and doesn’t give the fish much time to think about eating them. \u00a0There are a few spots to fish from shore on Anderson Lake. \u00a0My favorite spot is at the mouth of Gates creek. \u00a0This time of year there are tons of Sockeye Salmon at the creek mouth waiting for high water. \u00a0This means the Trout are right there with them waiting as well. \u00a0The picture below is of Sockeye Salmon that have made it into Gates creek already. \u00a0Picture was taken August 23rd 2015.<\/p>\n

In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
