Freshwater Fishing Reports for Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton BC. \u00a0The Squamish River is starting to fill with Pink Salmon and the fishing has been good. \u00a0The Pink Salmon fishing in Squamish, BC will continue to get better and will peak by the end of August. \u00a0While fly fishing for Pink Salmon use small to medium sized pink in color flies. \u00a0We have been having great success with flies hook sized between 10 and size 4. \u00a0Patterns include the Pink Lady, \u00a0Pink\u00a0Clouser Minnow #4, \u00a0Clouser Minnow – Pink\/White #4 and the\u00a0Chromer Snack – Pink with Purple Head #4. \u00a0All of the pink salmon fly patterns mentioned have been working well for us. \u00a0They are fished best with either a type 3 or 4 sink tip fly line with a leader length of 6′ – 8′. \u00a0Most Pink Salmon will be caught near the bottom and up to 8″ from the bottom. \u00a0For more information about fishing for Pink Salmon in Squamish, hire one of our professional fly fishing guides<\/a>. \u00a0We are on the Squamish River daily and have a couple secret Pink Salmon fly patterns that will drastically increase your odds of catching. \u00a0Visit our website for rates and contact information\u00a0https:\/\/pembertonfishfinder.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Freshwater Fishing Reports for Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton BC. \u00a0 All of the small lakes in Whistler, BC are fishing very well. \u00a0We have been catching lots of Rainbow Trout ranging in size from 10″ – 20″ depending on the lake. \u00a0Lakes that you should focus on fishing in Whistler are Nita Lake, Lost Lake, Alta Lake, Showh Lake, Cheakamus Lake and one of my new favorites is Madeley Lake. \u00a0To get to Madeley lake turn onto\u00a0Callaghan FSR off of hwy 99. \u00a0Follow\u00a0Callaghan FSR for roughly 12 KM and you will see Madeley Lake road on your right. \u00a0Follow this road until you arrive at the lake. \u00a0There is a small recreational campsite and tons of scenery suitable for pictures. \u00a0The fishing is very good for Rainbow Trout averaging 14″. \u00a0While fly fishing Madeley Lake try using Full Back, Half back, tom thumb, dragonfly nymphs, damsel flies, elk hair caddis and my favorite a brown wooly bugger. \u00a0There is limited shoreline access, so bring a pontoon boat or a float tube. \u00a0Madeley Lake is a great lake for introducing people to fly fishing. \u00a0Below are a couple pictures from Madeley Lake.<\/p>\n
