Anderson Lake BC fishing Report June 18th 2015. \u00a0Anderson Lake holds some of the best fishing for Bull Trout, Rainbow Trout and Kokanee in British Columbia Canada. \u00a0The freshet is starting to recede.\u00a0 There are\u00a0a ton of post spawn Rainbow Trout in the lake now. \u00a0In a couple weeks the Rainbow Trout will fill out and be back to there usual selves. \u00a0This being said they are feeding very heavily on both Salmon fry and Kokanee. \u00a0Most of the Bull Trout and Rainbow Trout we have been catching are full of fry. \u00a0Below is a picture of a Kokanee fry that was spit up by a Bull Trout when we were releasing it. \u00a0You will notice that the fry is partially digested, but it gives you a good idea of the size and color.<\/p>\n

The water level has dropped\u00a0nearly 1 and a half feet in the last week. \u00a0 The water temperature on the surface is now in the mid 60’s. \u00a0This has made the Kokanee more active and now they can be seen cresting the water throughout the lake. \u00a0The fishing at the creek mouths has started to slow down as the water recedes. \u00a0The reason for this is simple, the less water – the less feed – the less fish at the creek mouths. \u00a0As the water levels fall the trolling only gets better. \u00a0Below are a few pictures of a few Bull Trout caught June 15th 2015 with our clients. \u00a0Anderson Lake has incredible fishing, views that include numerous waterfalls and ample opportunities of seeing wildlife. \u00a0Wildlife that includes Black bear, bald eagles and deer to mention a few. \u00a0The Pemberton Fish Finder offers both full day and half day fishing charters on Anderson Lake. \u00a0For more information and to view rates for fishing charters on Anderson Lake<\/a>, please visit our\u00a0website\u00a0https:\/\/pembertonfishfinder.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n
