River Fly Fishing in Whistler and Pemberton BC Canada. \u00a0Whistler holds a few great opportunities for Stream fishing. \u00a0The only difference between River fishing in Whistler and Pemberton, is that Pemberton in the Summer and Fall receives 5 different Pacific Salmon Runs. \u00a0Streams in Whistler receive a lot less pressure and your chance of hooking quality Trout are still very good. \u00a0In Whistler there are numerous Lakes that small to medium sized streams enter, these are known as hot spots. \u00a0A Few notable Streams worth fishing in the Whistler area include; Green River, River of Golden Dreams and one of my favorites the Cheakamus River. \u00a0All of these streams noted hold an abundant stock of Bull Trout and Rainbow Trout. \u00a0They also have a few Kokanee and Cutthroat Trout in the River of Golden Dreams.<\/p>\n

River Fly Fishing in Whistler and Pemberton BC Canada. \u00a0Pemberton holds\u00a0some truly\u00a0unique River Fly Fishing opportunities. There are not too many places in the World that you can Fly Fish for multiple Species of fish in the course of a day. \u00a0Not to mention, Multiple Species of Pacific Salmon in a Day. \u00a0Most of our fly fishing is done by method of Walk and Wade. \u00a0There are a couple Streams in Pemberton that are “boat drift safe” in the Spring and Late Fall. \u00a0April and May hold some of the Best Fly fishing for Rainbow Trout, Coastal Cutthroat Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish and Bull Trout in British<\/strong><\/em> Columbia.<\/strong> \u00a0Fish feed heavily on Salmon Fry that emerge from the Spawning grounds this time of year. \u00a0Once Trout get a taste for Salmon fry they can be fooled easily with the use of Streamers and Minnow Patterns. \u00a0My Favorite Fry Patterns include; \u00a0Foxy Lady Streamer<\/a>, Pink Belly<\/a>, Moto Minnow and one of my Favorites is the Epoxy Minnow<\/a>. \u00a0Rivers worth checking out in the Pemberton area include; Lillooet River, Birkenhead River, Green River and the Ryan River. \u00a0All of these streams mentioned will produce Trophy Trout and Pacific Salmon throughout the year. \u00a0For more information about fly fishing in both Whistler and Pemberton, BC visit Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd.<\/a> \u00a0In downtown Pemberton at 1380 Birch street. \u00a0Spud has a great selection of Fly rods, flies, fly tying equipment, waders and maps. \u00a0There staff are very knowledgeable and are known as Pemberton and Whistler’s Fly Shop!<\/em><\/p>\n

In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
