Coastal Cutthroat Fishing in Pemberton BC Canada. \u00a0It is that time of year again, when the leaves start to form and the birds are singing. \u00a0Most importantly the Coastal Cutthroat run has finally made a huge delivery in the streams surrounding Pemberton, BC Canada. \u00a0Being a salesman\/owner at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd<\/a>, in Pemberton. \u00a0 I get to hear about the progress of the Cutthroat from my clients. \u00a0First, they are catching them along the shorelines of the Lower Lillooet River. \u00a0Followed by\u00a0the shorelines of Lillooet lake. \u00a0 Now the Cutthroat are in\u00a0all of the Tributaries to Lillooet Lake. \u00a0This means we have roughly 1 month of incredible Coastal Cutthroat fishing. \u00a0As soon as the freshet strikes the Cutthroat fishing is over.<\/p>\n

Coastal Cutthroat Fishing in Pemberton BC Canada<\/h2>\n

When Fly fishing for Cutthroat Trout in Pemberton, BC Canada. \u00a0Use either a sink tip or full sinking line with a type 3-4 sink rate. \u00a0I always suggest a 6 Lb tippet because occasionally you will hook a monster Cutthroat. \u00a0Cutthroat can reach a staggering 6.5 Lbs in the Pemberton area. \u00a0In my opinion Coastal Cutthroat are the hardest fighting Trout pound for pound. \u00a0Lets just say they don’t like being hooked. \u00a0Flies I would have in fly box would include Pink intruders,\u00a0Foxy Lady Streamer<\/a>,\u00a0Red Rib Salmon Fry<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Salmon Fry Fly<\/a>. \u00a0Coastal Cutthroat Trout are furious feeders and are clearly a predatory fish.<\/p>\n

When Spin fishing for Cutthroat use small spoons and spinners. \u00a0My favorites are the Pink spud valley spinner<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Spud Valley 21 gram Fish Scale<\/a>\u00a0spoon. \u00a0Both spinner and spoon will work best with a slow to moderate retrieve. \u00a0Look for deeper holding waters when fishing for Cutthroat Trout. \u00a0They also like to hide in structure\u00a0and\u00a0undercut shorelines\u00a0to\u00a0ambush their prey.<\/p>\n

In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan.
