2015 Pemberton Winterfest Kids Ice Fishing Derby. \u00a0The Pemberton Fish Finder<\/a> and Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd<\/a> are proud to announce that we will be hosting the\u00a02015 Pemberton Winterfest Kids Ice Fishing Derby. \u00a0This will be a two day event starting on January 17th, 2015 from 10am – 3pm and January 18th, 2015 from 10am – 3pm. \u00a0The derby will be held at One Mile lake in Pemberton, BC. \u00a0Senior Citizens are welcome to participate. \u00a0This is a free event. \u00a0We encourage individuals to bring their own Ice fishing equipment, specifically Ice fishing rods and hooks. \u00a0There will be Ice fishing rods and equipment available for purchase at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd,\u00a01380 Birch Street in Downtown Pemberton, BC. \u00a0The Pemberton Fish Finder will have a few ice fishing rods available for the public to borrow. \u00a0Keep in mind, the last ice fishing derby we hosted drew quite a crowd “250 Kids” and not everyone was able to get an ice fishing rod. \u00a0Rod availability is on a first come, first serve basis and we will not hold rods for anyone. We are excited that Redl Sports distributing<\/a>, Rapala\u00a0of Canada<\/a> and Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd. have donated prizes in excess of $500. \u00a0Pemberton Winterfest will provide the trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the event. \u00a0There will be Ice fishing huts set up with heaters so you can warm up if needed. \u00a0There will be plenty of other events on the ice that include; Ice skating, Curling and a Hockey Tournament. \u00a0Bring your kids out and lets enjoy a fun day on the Ice.<\/p>\n

Below are a few pictures from the last Ice fishing derby. \u00a0A girl won the last derby with a beautiful 19″ Cutthroat Trout. \u00a0Lots of Prizes to be won! \u00a0Come out and get hooked on Ice Fishing.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
