BC Family Fishing Trips in Whistler Canada. \u00a0October holds some of the best fishing trips in Whistler BC Canada<\/a>. \u00a0All of the Streams and Lakes are fishing great. \u00a0Trout are feeding heavily in anticipation of the Winter. \u00a0Kokanee fishing right now is as good as it gets and we don’t mind if you take a limit home. \u00a0The reason for this is because they are very abundant and Kokanee die after they spawn. \u00a0There\u00a0are truly no other freshwater fish in British Columbia that taste better. \u00a0The Kokanee this year in Anderson lake have been averaging 14″ and weigh roughly a pound and a half. \u00a0We have been catching a few larger ones with the largest being 4.5 lbs. \u00a0Now that is a huge Kokanee. \u00a0Families absolutely enjoy fishing for Kokanee because there is a ton of action. \u00a0Typically we will put between 20 and 30 Kokanee in the boat each and every tour. \u00a0That’s not counting Rainbow Trout and Bull Trout that are caught in between.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of large lakes and streams in the area that are full of Trout and Salmon. \u00a0Coho Salmon will start to enter the Lakes and Streams this month. \u00a0Pemberton, BC gets a run of Northern Coho each and every year. \u00a0Northern Coho in Pemberton, BC can grow upwards of 25 lbs. \u00a0Having one of these slabs on your line can be very exciting. \u00a0Coho are known for there huge aerial displays and big reel burning runs. \u00a0This is a very exciting time of the Year for the Pemberton Fish Finder and a great time for a BC Family Fishing Trips in Whistler Canada.<\/p>\n

In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. In 1976 My Father \"Ivan Knowles\" opened Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, and how fitting he had his two boys running the shop who were both very avid in hunting, camping and most of all ... fishing. Everyday people from all over the World would come in and get the local scoop, buy their gear and be off to catch fish. Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish. Now back working at Spud Valley Sporting Goods Ltd, \"The Family Business\", I love working with my brother Sheridan and father Ivan. Also a proud member of the fisheries committee for Pemberton Wildlife Association - helping make local decisions on local fisheries.
