Salmon Fishing Pemberton British Columbia Canada. \u00a0Just so you know you don’t have to beat yourself up in the Tidal waters of BC to Catch and release Salmon. \u00a0Salmon fishing<\/a> can be very good in the Pemberton Valley. \u00a0Throughout the year we receive all 5 Pacific Salmon Runs. \u00a0Starting in May\u00a0with Chinook Salmon A.K.A. King Salmon. \u00a0Chinook Salmon are the largest of the Pacific Salmon and can way as much as 100 lbs. \u00a0The fishing for Chinook stays good until the end of June. \u00a0At this point most of the Chinook Salmon have made it to there spawning areas and should not be disturbed. \u00a0By the last week of July, Sockeye Salmon start to make an appearance. \u00a0Last year Pemberton, British Columbia saw roughly 140,000 Sockeye Salmon enter the Birkenhead River alone. \u00a0That’s not counting what the Lillooet River saw. \u00a0 August Pink Salmon show up in the Lower Lillooet River. \u00a0Pink Salmon are the smallest of the Pacific Salmon and are great fun to catch on the fly. \u00a0September brings the Massive Chum Salmon to town. \u00a0Most of the Chum Salmon fishing is done also in the Lower Lillooet River. \u00a0 Chum Salmon average a staggering 20 – 30 Lbs and are known to be one of the hardest fighting Salmon in the World. \u00a0Finally Coho Salmon show up in October and stay till Late December. \u00a0These aren’t any ordinary Coho Salmon that visit Pemberton, they are known as Northern Coho Salmon. \u00a0Northern Coho are very large and can weigh as much as 30 Lbs. \u00a0I have personally caught numerous Coho from Pemberton in and around 25 Lbs.<\/p>\n

The Trout fishing is also very good in Pemberton, British Columbia year-round. \u00a0The Trout tend to stay close to the Salmon near Spawning season. \u00a0Trout can be fooled quiet easily with the use of egg patterns while Fly Fishing.<\/p>\n

Later on My local knowledge and ability to help people catch fish would come in handy. Soon I ventured away from the family business to work as a angling guide for 5 years. In those 5 years I stared in my own fishing show called ELITE FISHING which was seen by 100,000 people a week on Whistler Cable. I have made a name for myself as the man to see if you want to catch fish.
